It’s our pleasure to announce that Julie Burgess has accepted a position with the LCMS Foundation to serve as a Gift Planning Counselor supporting Church Extension Fund and working with LCMS congregations and its members across the Michigan District. Specifically, Julie will be working with members to create gift plans that provide for their families, but also for the church organizations they love.

Through Julie’s work, we are confident that hundreds of Michigan churches, schools and ministries, as well as CEF itself, will be blessed for generations to come. 

Julie is a devoted member of St. Paul, Ann Arbor and has spent 30 years working with LCMS churches and schools as a teacher and a Director of Family Life. She and her husband have lived in Michigan for 13 years and have three grown children and two granddaughters. We are very pleased to have someone with such great experience join the Foundation to do gift planning on behalf of CEF.
